RICHMOND, Ind. (WDTN) –An active shooter situation at an Indiana middle school has ended with the suspect dead.
Richmond Community Schools said on its Facebook page Thursday there has been an “active shooter situation” at Dennis Intermediate School and the building is currently on lockdown.
WDTN is reporting that the shooter has died.
The district said the building is secure. According to a Twitter post from the district, all students are safe.
All students at Dennis Intermediate school are safe. Only the suspect is injured.
