LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Laurel County Sheriff is warning drivers that roads across the county are slick on Sunday afternoon.
Sheriff John Root reports that major roadways are wet with some slick spots, and secondary roads are icy and hazardous.
The sheriff says that deputies are patrolling many of these roads in case drivers need help.
He urges everyone to use extra caution and take it slow if you need to go somewhere.
