LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – In the final hours to pick up a tag for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, just 35 tags are left at various locations across Lexington.

Until 7:00p.m. on Saturday people can visit a tree at Whitaker Bank locations in Lexington and Georgetown, or the Fayette Mall, to pick up a tag.

Each tag has the name and age of a child, and some gifts they would like to receive for Christmas this year.

Unwrapped presents should be returned to a tree at any of those same locations.

If you can’t make it before 7:00p.m. on Saturday, you can also bring unwrapped gifts to the Lexington Distribution Center through December 13th.

Please make a difference and make the holidays brighter for a child in need!
