Lexington Police Seek Help In Hit-Run That Killed Man On N. Limestone

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX18) — Lexington police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an Oct. 20 hit-and-run that killed a man on the city’s north side.

Authorities say 47-year-old John Oliver was struck and killed as he rode his bicycle just after 2 a.m. at North Limestone and Templeman Alley.

Police said they have surveillance video showing a silver/gray Kia Spectra hitting Oliver as he stood next to his bicycle.

According to police a male and female stopped the vehicle and remained on the scene until police arrive.

Police described the suspects as white with thin builds. They said the woman wore her hair in dreadlocks.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the crash to call the Lexington Police Collision Reconstruction Unit at 859-258-3663 or Crimestoppers at 859-253-2020.
