MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Flash flooding wreaked havoc on several counties in central Kentucky as heavy rain pummeled the area on Sunday.
Several roads were under water in Montgomery County, including Main Street and Queen Street. Several homes were threatened by the flooding and people were working to move their belongings to higher ground.

Several roads in Montgomery County are closed Sunday afternoon, including:
- US 60 – milepoints 6.0 to 7.0
- KY 713 – milepoints 9.0 to 10.0
- KY 3362 – milepoints 0.0 to 3.0
- KY 1991 – milepoints 0.0 to 5.0
- KY 646 – milepoints 11.0 to 13.0
- KY 646 – milepoints 14.5 to 15.0
- KY 1331 – milepoints 2.0 to 4.0
- KY 537 – milepoints 2.0 to 4.0
Bath County was another area hit hard by flooding. Several roads had to be shut down there and emergency officials want to remind people never to drive through floodwaters.
