ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Morehead Police confirm crews are looking for a boy who fell into a storm drain and was swept away by floodwaters.
Reportedly a 12-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy fell in a storm drain around 3:30p.m. while there was flooding in the area.
Police say the older boy was able to get out, but the 8-year-old has not been found.
EMS and fire crews are searching for the boy, but they are not searching in the water because it is still too dangerous.
