(TMZ) – Celebrity gossip site TMZ is reporting that disgraced movie-mogul Harvey Weinstein is moving to get Ashley Judd’s lawsuit against him thrown out of court.
The actress, who spent the majority of her childhood in Kentucky, claimed that Weinstein damaged her career after she refused his sexual advances.
Judd’s suit is based on a 2017 article in which Peter Jackson speculated Ashley wasn’t hired for a ‘Lord of the Rings’ role due to Weinstein blackballing her.
Weinstein’s motion to dismiss says that Ashley’s case is based on speculation.
