LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Kentucky Farm Bureau’s annual breakfast filled bellies and raised record-breaking amounts for charity.
This year’s champion ham was sold for $2.8 million beating the 2014 grand total of $2 million.

The auction raises money for multiple charitable organizations and is attended yearly by several notable Kentuckians, including Governor Bevin, Secretary of State Alison Lundegran Grimes, Miss Kentucky Katie Bouchard and Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
Chefs prepared a lineup of biscuits and gravy and, of course, ham.
