FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The first week of high school football season in Kentucky started with a scare at one school, as officials reported an unspecified threat at it’s home opener.
In a letter sent to parents on Friday, Fleming County Superintendent Brian Creasman reported an "indirect and unsubstantiated threat" to the game between Fleming County and Harrison County.
Even though the threat was considered unsubstantiated, school officials took extra precautions as the game took place as scheduled.
