MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A security alert has been sent at Eastern Kentucky University due to an off-campus situation.
EKU Public Safety sent the alert Wednesday morning just after 7:30 p.m., asking people to stay in place.
Richmond Police were searching for an individual they believed could be armed.
The subject fled in an unknown direction of travel.
E K U Alert: All Clear: The emergency condition has ended. It is safe to resume normal activities. Incident involved Richmond Police and was off campus.
