LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman is in jail Monday morning accused of stabbing a man in the shoulder over the weekend.
It happened just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday on East Sixth Street.
Police say 39-year-old Shaleisha Miller stabbed a man in the right shoulder with a knife, creating a one to one and a half inch cut.
The victim tells police the stabbing was pre-meditated.
Miller is in the Fayette County Detention Center charged with second-degree assault.
