BATH COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — One teenager was killed and another was injured in crash Saturday night in Bath County.
Police say a 18-year-old Samantha Sexton of Owingsville was driving along Kentucky Highway 36 when the vehicle hit a utility pole.
Sexton and her passenger, 18-year-old Daniel Spence of Sharpsburg, were transported to an area hospital.
Sexton was treated and released, while Spence was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say Spence was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
