LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – The coroner has identified the man who was killed in a crash on Friday evening near the Woodford County line.
The Fayette County Coroner says 56-year-old Alfredo Najera was pronounced dead at 6:05p.m. on Friday.
The accident happened on Old Frankfort Pike– about a half mile from Redd Road.
Investigators say they believe Najera was driving from Woodford County and lost control, then over-corrected — before hitting the fence.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
