LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a serious crash that sent one man to the hospital.
Reportedly deputies responded to a single vehicle crash near Park Subdivision off KY 1189 on Sunday afternoon around 3:00.
The Laurel County Sheriff says investigators believe a Jeep Cherokee ran off the road and hit a tree head-on, causing the driver to become trapped inside.
The driver was identified as Jason Abrams, 41, and he was airlifted to UK Medical Center in critical condition.
The crash is under investigation.
