The Kentucky Basketball team has lost a commitment for the 2019 season. D.J. Jeffries made his announcement on Twitter on Monday.
After careful consideration prayer and countless hours of consulting with my family I decided to reopen recruitment it was a hard decision but I am confident that taking my time to choose the right school for me to better myself educationally and athletically is the right choice pic.twitter.com/Pqc4QlVqfd

Jeffries is a 6’9" forward out of Mississippi. According to the 247sports.com composite rankings, Jeffries is the number 10 small forward and he’s the 37th best overall in the Class of 2019. He had committed to Kentucky back on March 12.
Jeffries could be thinking now about attending Memphis where his former AAU Coach, Penny Hardaway, is in his first season of leading the Tigers.
