DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Kentucky State Trooper is being punished after surveillance video showed him kicking an inmate.
It happened June 24 in Daviess County.
In the video, the trooper apparently orders the inmate to sit down and when he doesn’t, he pushes the man down with his foot.
The jailer says the trooper told him about it the next morning and he reported it to KSP.
The trooper has been written up and ordered to go to counseling as the state police continue to investigate.
