LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Crews in Lexington were called out to a fire just south of the University of Kentucky’s campus. It happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Barberry Lane.Officials say after setting up a bonfire, the residents put the flames out with water then placed the ashes in a recycling bin. Crews say they were able to know down the fire pretty quickly.
