PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– 18 different fire agencies responded to a fire at a charcoal plant Wednesday.
It happened around 4 a.m. at Kingsford Manufacturing Company on US-27.
The Pulaski County Public Safety Director says an alarm alerted officials to a fire inside one of the manufacturing buildings.
They aren’t sure if anyone was inside at the time, but there have been no injuries reported.
A representative with the plant says the damage is minor and they are actually going to start production back up today.
Crews are still investigating what started the fire.
