BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Boone County Sheriff is asking for the public’s help finding a robbery suspect.
A release from the sheriff’s office says the crime happened on Sunday at about 11:45a.m. at the Fifth Third Bank located inside of Kroger on US Highway 42 in Union.
Reportedly the suspect presented a note to the teller stating it was a robbery, to hand over all of the money and no die packs.
The robber is described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, around 6’0 tall with a thin build, last seen wearing a Reds baseball hat, black glasses a green t-shirt, blue shorts, white socks and work boots.
Reportedly the suspect had an accomplice who drove them away in a late model grey Honda Civic. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office or crime stoppers at 513-352-3040.
