LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A rally is set for today in Lexington where protesters will voice their opposition to the Trump administration’s recent immigration policies.
The ‘Families Belong Together’ rally is scheduled for this afternoon at the Fayette Circuit Courthouse. Similar rallies have already been held across the country including one at Senator Mitch McConnell’s Lexington office earlier this week.
The event’s official website says it aims to hold the administration accountable for the separation of children in immigration custody.
The rally is being organized by the National Organization for Women.
The rally starts at 2 p.m.
