The roller coaster, on Daytona Beach Boardwalk, derailed in Florida and sent two individuals plunging 34 feet to the ground and resulted in several other injuries.

Alternative Oulook LLC, located in Knott County, confirmed that two of their employees were hurt. They released a statement to LEX 18:

"I can acknowledge that a group from our agency was involved in this very unfortunate incident. As far as the extent of injuries and who was involved, we are not at liberty to discuss specific names due to confidentiality.  However, I can tell we have 2 staff currently in the hospital, the staff were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries to our understanding.  We are taking the necessary steps to bring everyone home safely.  We have someone there now who was not on the original trip, we also have someone there coordinating for everyone’s safe return home.  We are very thankful that the injuries were not life threating.  We are also very thankful for everyone who aided with the rescue and treating the injuries; that would include the first responders, EMT’s, the Police Department, the hospital and the Fire and Rescue teams.  Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in our group!"
