BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man is in custody on weapons charges and police are investigating his alleged involvement in the weekend shooting death of a man in Lee County.
Kentucky State Police say 50-year-old Jeffrey L. Kincaid of Beattyville was found shot to death Saturday morning.
Kincaid was pronounced dead at the residence on Kentucky Highway 52.
Authorities say 56-year-old Michael Hensley is being investigated in the slaying.
Hensley was arrest and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He was being held in the Three Forks Regional Jail.
KSP says its investigation into the shooting death is ongoing.
