Parts of West Virginia were hit with heavy rain and severe flooding last night– forcing some people to leave their homes.
The emergency-management-agency director says the region surrounding Wellsburg, West Virginia saw nearly three inches of rain.
The town sits along the bank of the Ohio River at the Ohio-West Virginia state line.
The people who were forced to leave their homes did so after apartments on the ground level experienced intense flooding.
