FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear announced Monday that his office will conduct an investigation into the Martin County Water District.
Beshear declared the probe in a three-sentence missive delivered to media outlets and posted on Twitter:

The troubled water district has suffered through catastrophic outages and recently instituted a rate hike of nearly 30 percent.
