LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police have charged a Stanford man with possession of child pornography.
Kentucky State Police say 19-year-old Sawyer B. Carey was arrested Tuesday afternoon, following an undercover investigation by the Electronic Crime Branch.
Authorities say Carey had uploaded child pornography images to the internet. Police say seized equipment is being examined.
Carey is charged with two counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and that more charges are expected.
Carey was being held in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
