Our mid summer weather pattern continues as we finish up the unofficial first weekend of summer. It’s another day in the 80’s and we’re still tracking thunderstorms today. A steadier rain has moved into southern Kentucky well in advance of Tropical Storm Alberto.
Alberto will move into Alabama tonight and eventually weaken. However, its tropical rainfall will be moving north throughout the week. Thunderstorms will become more numerous Tuesday with locally heavy rain possible. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for southern Kentucky. Our highs will remain in the 80’s.
