LONDON, Ky. (LEX 18) – As summer quickly approaches, rangers at the Daniel Boone National Forest want to remind campers and tourists to clean up after themselves.
"With the summer season right around the corner, we’d like to remind folks to "Lend a Hand – Care for the Land!" just like Woodsy Owl," reads the post shared with photos of littered campsites, "sights like this can ruin a day playing in the lake, hiking on a trail, or simply driving to enjoy the scenery. Please, if you pack it in, pack it out! Help keep your public lands litter free."
