LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– We’re experiencing some historical gas prices here in Lexington.
They have hit $3 a gallon. According to Gas Buddy, the last time that happened was back in 2014.
The all-time record goes back to July 2008 when gas reached more than $4 per gallon.
Energy experts point to the recent decision by President Donald Trump to pull from the Iran Nuclear Deal as a reason for oil and gas prices rising.
