LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – It’s safe to say that when Jack Baugh prepared to open the store he manages in downtown Lexington, he thought it was gonna be just another Tuesday.
That was until some of the Foo Fighters showed up at Bicycle Face asking to rent bikes to take around downtown. So, if you thought you saw the band riding around downtown Lexington…you weren’t imagining things.
The day didn’t end there. Jack offered some advice on where to have a drink. Jack directed them to Sidebar because it’s a favorite and where he met his wife, Amy VanWinkle.
"We sent them there because that’s where Jack and I met, got married and had our wedding dinner." Amy VanWinkle told LEX 18.
Rami Jaffee loved the bike he rode so much, he bought it and offered the two backstage passes to tonight’s show at Rupp Arena.
VanWinkle says she’s got bigger plans for their new friendship. "I’m going to invite them back to do a bourbon tasting."
