HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (News-Enterprise) – A 2-year-old child has passed away after drowning in a swimming pool in Hardin County.
According to the News-Enterprise, Hardin County EMS were called to the home on Casablanca Court and Rodeo Drive. The child was transported to the hospital by EMS and a Hardin County Sheriff’s Office deputy and succumbed to injuries.
A death investigation is open, which is standard protocol.
Sheriff John Ward told the paper that the incident was "an awful tragedy.”
