Case Against Man Charged In Fatal Hit-Run Goes To Grand Jury

Posted

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The man accused of killing a Lexington real estate agent in a hit-and-run last week was back in court Wednesday.

Stevonn "Stevie" Page, 46, was killed six days ago outside her Fayette County home.

Michael Ray King was the second name called on this morning’s docket and was in the courtroom for less than a minute, with his case being sent to a grand jury.

This was King’s second court appearance.

Officials say that last Thursday, Page was moving trash cans on Leestown Road near the Scott County line when she was hit by a car driven by King.

Police say King fled the scene. He was captured by police down the road from where the crash occurred. A 911 caller followed King and gave directions to police.
