Ale-8 Rolls Out Cherry Flavor

Posted

WINCHESTER, Ky. (LEX 18) – We’ve never seen Lee Cruse more excited. Ale-8-One is offering its first new flavor in its 92-year history.

Cherry Ale-8 will debut in soda fountains this weekend in five convenience store locations around Winchester and the Red River Gorge. Fans can follow Ale-8-One’s social media pages for locations, dates and times.

In late spring, Cherry Ale-8 will be offered in more soda fountain machines, single-serve bottles and six-packs in select convenience, retail and grocery stores in Ale-8’s core market, which includes the cities of Lexington, Frankfort, Richmond, Winchester, Bowing Green, Owensboro and Elizabethtown, among others.

The six-packs will have a retail price of $3.49. Cherry Ale-8 will also be available through the company’s website. Visit ale8one.com or follow Ale-8 on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.

“As a fourth-generation family owned company, we have to be confident that any new flavor is ‘Wainscott Worthy’ before we offer it to our fans. Uncle Lee had notoriously high standards, and we feel sure he would be proud of what we have created with Cherry Ale-8,” said Wainscott’s great-great nephew and Ale-8 owner Fielding Rogers.
