LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Many people equate the official first day of spring with opening day at Keeneland, however this year’s opening weekend will have less than ideal weather.
Keeneland’s 2018 Spring Race Meet opens this Friday with a chance of rain and snow to follow on Saturday.
The races will take place Wednesday through Sunday, with gates opening at 11 a.m. and first post at 1:05 p.m. daily.
The spring meet continues through April 27.
