LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A gas leak at Transylvania University has caused an evacuation.
Columbia Gas tells LEX 18 that a truck hit a gas main at West Fourth Street and North Broadway. The Shearer Art Building was evacuated.
Avoid the area if possible. Crews from Columbia Gas are on scene.
Columbia Gas officials said about 4:20 p.m. that the streets near the area had been reopened to traffic.
