LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two juveniles and one adult have been arrested following an altercation which led to a shot being fired at the State Fair.
The melee occurred last week at the State Fair. Video shows an officer pushing back a crowd of rowdy teenagers. The incident led to rumors of an active shooter at the Fair. When investigators returned to the scene they recovered a shell casing.
Detectives with KSP arrested a 15-year-old who they say fired the weapon. The juvenile was charged with with Possession of a Handgun by a Minor and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
Louisville Metro Police also arrested a 16-year old male juvenile who was charged with Possession of a Handgun by a Minor. LMPD also arrested one adult, identified as Jalen Hume. Hume was charged with Possession of a Handgun and Violation of a Court Order.
The incident led to a curfew being imposed at the fair.
