Anderson County School scare suspects let out of jail without bond

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — In Anderson County, two 19-year-olds were arrested after allegedly causing three schools to be placed on lockdown on Tuesday morning.

According to the Anderson News, Zachary King and Kyle Knight were "administratively released" according to the Shelby County Detention Center.

Police said 19-year-old King and Knight were walking around the high school property on Tuesday morning and one of them had what looked like a gun.

Less than an hour later, King and Knight were arrested at a home nearby.

One of them was found with a BB gun in a holster.

The suspects told police that they had no intention of hurting anyone.

Both were charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing, but released on Wednesday without bond.

According to the Anderson News, no arraignment date has been set as of Wednesday.
