BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was killed in a crash late Sunday on Russell Cave Road near the Fayette and Bourbon county line.
The crash initially was dispatched to Lexington police, but since has been turned over to Bourbon County law enforcement.
Upon arrival, officers found a car had struck a tree.
The victim's name was not immediately disclosed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
