We are excited to share that we have not one, but two new exclusive views of Lexington! The fine folks at WeatherBug installed two new cameras for us - one in the Distillery District along Manchester Street and another at the Lexington Financial Center. Our new camera downtown is literally on top of the Big Blue building! Major props to Ben the installer for not on being over 500 feet up, but also climbing an extra 15 feet to actually place the camera. He has nerves of steel!

The Lexington Financial Center gives us a nearly unobstructed 360-degree view of central Kentucky. Sunrises and sunsets are going to be gorgeous with this view! It will also give us a view from up top of approaching storms. The image above is looking out Broadway towards the Beaumont area. You can spot UK on the left and Red Mile on the right. Facing north we can see the Toyota plant in Georgetown. On a clear, crisp, fall day we'll be able to see the beautiful mountains of eastern Kentucky. From time to time we'll be doing live forecasts from the weather balcony atop the Lexington Financial Center as well.

The second new camera sits on top of the Pepper Distillery rick house. Lexington's Distillery District has some great restaurants, like Goodfellas and Crank and Boom, along with a number of bars. When I'm working Saturday nights I'll feel like I'm right there with y'all enjoying the nightlife.
