We stay hot through Labor Day

Temperatures are running mainly in the middle to upper 60s. which is slightly warmer than this time yesterday. Visibility seems to be doing okay, but low-lying clouds and fog is certainly present in some locations. Rain continues to fall on the other side of the Ohio.

We’re still running with summer temperatures as we sit on the warm side of a mostly stalled front. Through the course of your Sunday, the front will lift northward as a warm front and the heat will continue. Expect to hit the low 90s again this afternoon before the sun sets. Along with the heat will be the southerly winds bringing in moisture. So, expect a hot and humid day for the middle of Labor Day Weekend. We continue to monitor Dorian as the storm continues to move westward. The latest storm track has shifted eastward making a landfall less likely. Regardless, heavy rain and strong winds will be a factor for many along the Florida, Georgia and Carolina coastlines.
