LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting.
Police say 21-year-old Jeremy Jovontae Jackson has an active warrant for murder.
Investigators believe Jackson shot 51-year-old Carroll Martin outside of a home on Florence Avenue on Sunday shortly after 9:00a.m.
Martin later died at the hospital. Police believe Martin and Jackson were acquaintances.
Sept. 21 update - Lexington Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this week. Jeremy Jovontae Jackson, 21, has an active arrest warrant for Murder.
Anyone with information on Jackson's whereabouts is asked to call Lexington Police.
