If you need some attic inspo, look no further than this transformation at the Cabrera family home, shared by daughter Joserin on Twitter.

On June 22, Joserin shared four photos that showed some serious remodeling skills. “[A]nyways my dad built my mom a closet in the attic,” she wrote.

The photos included a “before” shot of an obviously neglected attic; an “in-progress” photo in which new flooring was being put down and the walls and ceilings had been freshly painted; and two stunning “after” shots.

Check out the photos below:

“Honestly, my wife and I needed more space for our clothes,” Rodolfo Cabrera told House Beautiful. “One day I went up to my attic and I began to think ‘Wow, we have all this empty space that we can transform into something else.'”

Cabrera, who has worked in the home remodeling business for 15 years and owns the Maryland-based Remodeling & Design LLC, said the work took around three weeks to complete, and it cost him between $25,000 and $30,000.

After a cleanup of the attic, Cabrera and his team did the framing, updated the electrical, hung drywall, plastered it all and did a ceiling that incorporated recessed LED lights.

According to Cabrera, the hardest part was the stairs, because they’re only attached to one wall, “so we needed to add as much support as we could to that one side.” After Joserin’s tweet went viral, the company shared pictures of those stairs and we have to say that they have a serious wow factor:

The company also installed built-in shelves and moved furniture from the master bedroom into the closet. Finally, to keep the space cool, a split AC unit was installed.

This spectacular attic closet can be seen in more detail in a room tour on the Remodeling & Design LLC Instagram account.

The response on Twitter ranged from admiration to envy.

“My jaw literally dropped!” one person wrote. “My God, this is too dope! Your daddy is the blueprint and whoever you marry better be able to match this type of energy!”

Another commented, “Whatever you do, do not let my wife see this. Thank you!”

Can we all just agree that it’s the best use of empty attic space ever?
