LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington Rescue Mission is expanding its free lunch program.
Beginning this week, the mission will serve hot lunches Monday-Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. Those lunches will be available at the Lexington Rescue Mission Outreach Center on Glen Arvin Avenue. All meals are free.
Previously, the mission only served lunch four days a week.
The mission is in need of donations. If you would like to help, you can drop off supplies at the Glen Arvin Avenue location.
