LEXINGTON — Lexington police are investigating after a man was shot early Sunday morning in downtown Lexington.
According to officials, the shooting happened around 5 a.m. at 6th and Ohio Streets. A man walking in the area told police that he heard a loud pop and felt pain in his leg. The man was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officials says he couldn't or wouldn't provide any further details, including a suspect description.
