LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A popular book store and gift shop off South Limestone is celebrating its 48th year in Lexington.
Sqecial Media has been open since 1972.
To celebrate its success, customers got 40% off everything in the store Sunday.
The owner says it’s a way to give back to people who have helped the store stay in business for so long.
"Yes we're having a big sale so it's not a big dollar day, but it's a thank you day to all our customers so that's what I'd like to be the most important part,” said Mary Morgan, store owner.
