Lauren Minor joined the LEX 18 news team in August of 2024 as the 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. anchor and also serves as a multimedia journalist.
Minor spent the last five years as an anchor at WXIX-TV in Cincinnati and before that, the Northern Kentucky University graduate was also an anchor and reporter at WKYT-TV.
Minor is also at UK fan. She studied at the University of Kentucky (2008-11).
She started her career in 2013 as an assignment editor and production assistant at WKRC-TV before being hired as a multimedia journalist at WTWO-TV in Terre Haute, Ind. She also co-hosted Good Day Live, a weekday lifestyle and entertainment show in Terra Haute.
Minor is also the recipient of an Ohio Valley Emmy Award in 2022 for her breaking news reporting of four tornadoes in Western Kentucky that killed more than 50 people.
