CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say that one man died in a Clay County crash Tuesday.
It happened around 2:16 p.m. on the Hal Rogers Parkway in Manchester.
KSP said their investigation indicates a pickup operated by 43-year-old Donald L. Holliday, of Hazard, was travelling eastbound on Hal Rogers Parkway when Holliday lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line, and collided with a commercial vehicle headed westbound.
The driver of the commercial vehicle, 46-year-old Eddie W. Stewart, of Manchester, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Holliday died at Advent Health Hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected in the crash.
