Police investigate after Lebanon toddler drowns in pond

LEBANON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are investigating the drowning death of a 15-month-old child in Lebanon.

Troopers say that on Sept. 3, around 11 a.m., they received a call about a one-year-old child missing from a residential daycare.

They responded to the scene on Helm Schoolhouse Road. Troopers say the child was located in a nearby pond. The victim, identified as Lincoln Spalding, was transported to Spring View Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives, the Social Services Special Investigations Division, and the Inspector Generals Office are investigating the case.
