Kristina Rosen joined the LEX 18 team as a Digital Content Producer in August 2021.
She took a non-traditional path into the newsroom as a University of Kentucky graduate with a dual degree in fashion merchandising and writing/digital studies.
Previously, Kristina spent five years with Lexington's original citywide magazine Ace Weekly. She credits an Ace internship as the reason she fell in love with telling stories and covering breaking news.
After graduation, she took on the role of associate editor at Ace and worked as managing editor at First Media. In her roles, Kristina wrote and edited stories, assisted in online coverage of breaking news, and published and managed content on multiple digital platforms.
She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, but grew up in Lexington and attended Dunbar High School.
