Adding more nuts to your diet has a ton of benefits. Not only are they an easy snack to grab when you’re on the go or just need a little something to hold you over until dinner, but they’re also rich in protein, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
If you eat a lot of plain nuts, however, you can tire of them quickly. Luckily, there are all sorts of flavors on the market to make snacking more fun, including new Huy Fong Sriracha Hot Chili Almonds now available at Sam’s Club!
The almonds are flavored with authentic Huy Fong Sriracha seasoning, featuring hints of chilies, garlic and vinegar. According to Sam’s Club, they are the only almonds that use the official, full-flavored taste of the authentic Huy Fong brand sauce. You can find them in a 24-ounce bag for $10.98, in their stores and online.
Although Sam’s Clubs claims this product as an exclusive, the same 24-ounce bag is also available at Walmart, but is more than double the price at $28.88. You can also find it on Amazon right now for about $20.07.
Blue Diamond also makes sriracha-flavored almonds, though they do not use the authentic sauce. A 6-ounce container sells for $3.49 at stores nationwide, including Target. Blue Diamond also makes habanero BBQ almonds and wasabi & soy sauce almonds if you’re also looking for something a bit different — but still with a kick.
You could also try your hand at making your own spicy almonds. It’s actually not as difficult as it may sound, as all you need is almonds, sriracha sauce and a few other ingredients. This recipe from the Almond Board of California calls for just a few extras: soy sauce, olive oil, chili flakes and kosher salt.
If you’re looking for other sriracha-flavored foods, there are more to choose from! Heinz is now making a HoneyRacha sauce that blends honey and sriracha sauce, plus tomato puree. While it is a special sriracha blend from Heinz and not a mash-up with Huy Fong’s Sriracha sauce, it is sweet and spicy and the company says it “tastes delicious on everything.”
If you really want something spicy but sweet, Jelly Belly has a new line of spicy jelly beans that includes a sriracha flavor (and jalapeno, cayenne, habanero and Carolina Reaper). They say while the sriracha flavor is mild with a slight burn, the Carolina Reaper really scorches your tongue.
Want more spicy candy? There’s also a line of Sriracha chocolates, and they’re official Huy Fong Foods products too. Yum! You can buy a variety pack at Vitacost but separate bars are available on Amazon.
Are you a sriracha fan? If so, you have options!
