MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A woman told Montgomery County authorities that someone tried to abduct her Tuesday morning.

Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call around 4 or 5 a.m. The woman told deputies that someone tried to abduct her, tied her up, and made threats to sexually assault her. The woman said she was able to get free and run to a neighbor's house, where the 9-1-1 call was made.

The victim was taken to the hospital. Her injuries are reportedly minor.

She told officers that the person who tried to harm her was Terry Wilson. Authorities say he was found in an abandoned home on his Bath County property. A near four hour standoff followed, and deputies say that Wilson repeatedly threatened to injure himself and others. Eventually, deputies say they made a tactical entry and arrested Wilson without issue.

Wilson was charged with one count of kidnapping an adult and was found to be a felon in possession of a handgun.

Deputies did not release the address of where the abduction took place to protect the identity of the victim.
